Do both of these lines ring a bell to you? If yes, then congratulations! You are a Harry Potter fan as well. For everyone in their 20s and even early 30s, you would agree when we say that all of us have grown up watching “The Boy Who Lived” as he progressed through his years at Hogwarts, preparing himself for his final confrontation against Lord Voldemort.
However, watching the Harry Potter movies today is just as delightful as it used to be all those years ago. Provided that we live in the era of the internet, access to all those movies is a lot easier now, meaning that you don’t have to travel all the way to your nearest DVD store to get the movies.
All you need is a reliable internet connection that will allow you to stream all the Harry Potter movies flawlessly, so it would be a great idea for you to consider looking into Xfinity Internet Bundles so that you can get an internet connection at a budget-friendly price. Once the internet is out of the way, you can then decide on which Harry Potter movies you would want to watch.
If you are a newbie to the world of Harry Potter (which is very less likely but possible), then we have a list of movies that you cannot miss out on, if you are planning on watching a few of them and not all of them. So, make sure that you read all the way to the end for a better understanding of which parts you should watch. So, without any further ado, let’s get into it.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Starting this list off with the one that fans all over the world believe is the best Harry Potter movie made. The third one in the series, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. One reason why this movie stood out from the rest was because it had a dark undertone and the movie really pushed the adrenaline through your body as you watched it.
The movie revolves around an escaped prisoner called Sirius Black and how he poses a threat to Harry and his friends. Sirius Black was also charged with the murder of Peter Pettigrew and it was believed that he had betrayed his friend, James Potter, as he was working for Voldemort, which led to the death of James and Lily Potter, Harry’s parents. The movie has a lot of magic, a lot of emotional moments, and even lots of time travel! You would have to watch the movie to figure out what happens!
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Not only was the movie good but even the book was insanely good too. This was right after the events of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but we can’t really tell you what exactly happens since that would be a spoiler. One thing that we didn’t expect was that they would cut so many things that they mentioned in the book but took out in the movie. But still, the movie was really good in terms of the way the cinematography was done. The movie had dragons, students from other schools, and lots of other things too.
The movie revolves around the Triwizard Tournament taking place at Hogwarts and no student under the age of 16 can take part. However, despite being 14, Harry’s name ends up in the Goblet of Fire and he has no other choice but to take part, risking his life.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
This was the movie where things took a drastic turn in terms of the story. A lot of dark revelations were made in this movie and the story just took an entire leap forward, setting the plot for the last movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It also took us by surprise when we found out who the Half-Blood Prince actually was and by the end of the movie, we felt as if our jaws had dropped to the ground.
There are a lot of details about the movie that we can’t tell you here but all we can tell you is that Harry also finally finds love in his life. If you have kept up with the previous movies, then you would probably know who *wink wink*
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
We remember being really young when we saw this one and it lives in our hearts rent-free. We also get to see a relatively younger Daniel Radcliffe in the movie and this was the second movie in the entire series. However, it was pretty interesting from start to end, with students getting petrified mysteriously and some weird links to spiders as well.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the kind of movie that you just cannot miss. Being the second movie in the installment, it also fortifies the friendship between Harry, Ron, and Hermione, which is the most wholesome thing you could ever see. The movie also introduced us to Dobby the house elf, the character who will always live in our hearts
Conclusive Note
Harry Potter has been a part of our childhoods even to the point where he is a part of our adulthood as well. If you ever feel like taking a trip down memory lane, you should definitely sit back, put on a Harry Potter marathon, and enjoy!
