If you want Disney Channel in your channel lineup on your Cable TV service, you should definitely consider getting Spectrum TV since it has Disney Channels among many other iconic channels as well.

That’s So Raven

We are going to start this list off with That’s So Raven which is about a teenager called Raven Baxter who has a gift which is a psychic ability that allows her to take a glimpse of future events through “visions”. However, she has to keep her abilities a secret and only her best friends Chelsea and Eddie know about it along with Raven’s family. The show has a brilliant comedic undertone and we absolutely love the way Raven Symone portrayed her character Raven in the show.

The show is the perfect pick if you wish to watch something with your family since the show is pretty family-friendly. Not only that, That’s So Raven also has a recent spin-off called Raven’s Home that you can start watching after you are done with That’s So Raven.

    Phil of the Future

Phil of the Future is the kind of show that had a very different storyline, which made the show very appealing to watch not just back then but even today. The show is about a young boy called Phil who along with his family gets trapped in our century as they are travelling in their time machine and something goes wrong while they are traveling from the future. Once they end up in our century, the family has to try to fit in but Phil doesn’t have a very difficult time doing it since he is already aware of all the trends.

The only person who knows that the Diffy family is Phil’s best friend and later girlfriend Keely Teslow. The interesting point of the show was how they had incorporated futuristic gadgets into the show that Phil and his family would carry around and use. Sometimes Keely would use them as well to get herself out of her everyday mundane tasks.

Just like That’s So Raven, Phil of the Future is also the kind of show that you can enjoy watching with your family on a nice family weekend.

      Recess

Taking a pause from all the live-action shows, it’s time to talk about one that is from the cartoonish side. One of the most iconic cartoons on Disney Channel is definitely Recess which is about a group of friends that navigate through school while staying within their own “gang”. Another interesting element of the show is how everyone in the playground follows a system of monarchy, with the “king” being a kid called “King Bob” and everyone obeys what he says.

The show was interesting in the sense that it actually taught kids to be more expressive and vocal about their thoughts and ideas. It also showed what the power of friendship is and how you should always have your friends’ back.

        American Dragon: Jake Long

Imagine how it would be if you were a teenager struggling through high school and you also had magical powers that allowed you to turn into a dragon on command. That is exactly what life is like for Jake Long who has magical powers that he inherited from his maternal side of the family. Jake also develops a crush on a girl from school called Rose and it turns out that Rose belongs to a family of huntsmen that hunt dragons and other magical creatures.

Jake has a pretty hard time trying to navigate through his life of being a dragon, saving magical creatures, and developing a relationship with Rose especially after he finds out the truth about her and her family. While the show sounds like a pretty serious one, it actually isn’t. The show has a comedic tone to it as well and when you start watching the show you’ll see how cool Jake is as a character and how he carries the show through the entirety of it.

          Hannah Montana

Coming back to the live-action shows, another one that was pretty iconic and popular was Hannah Montana which starred Miley Cyrus (who was an actual celebrity) and how she leads a double life as a high school student called Miley Stuart and a celebrity called Hannah Montana. All she does is put on a blonde wig and that is her persona. The show is pretty interesting and funny to watch with your family so be sure to give it a try too!

            Wrapping Up

These were some of the most iconic shows by Disney Channel that we really think you should watch with your family so that you could relive the nostalgia as well. So tune into Disney Channel or even Disney+ so that you can watch all the old-school and new Disney shows!
